Improvements Implemented For Empower Network Version 2

By Alex Banner

The Empower Network recently underwent many modifications with the introduction of ENV2, the most recent embodiment of the EN blogging system. This is certainly no huge secret to those within this particular industry, as lots of EN affiliates have been jabbering about it for the past several months.

And though you may well have been inundated with affiliates striving to advertise their links to you, there has been hardly anything mentioned relating to the actual improvements and features of the new Empower Network blogging system.

What's changing?

Empower Network members will discover a completely different product with ENV2. The whole system has been reorganized and the change to appearance and functionality are dramatic.

You may have heard some affiliates saying something like, "So simple and fast your Grandmother can create a new post faster than cooking a pancake". Her cooking abilities aside the new project is certainly far simpler to use than the previous.

The preceding rendition was essentially just a replicating installation of Wordpress, having the same settings and controls. Though putting up a blog using Wordpress is definitely more simple than constructing it from square one using raw coding, such was still way to perplexing for the everyday person to just jump in and start using. I found the previous version to be plenty practical for Me however I've been building sites for many years. I've witnessed many members buy and wind up canceling merely by reason of they couldn't grasp the technical factors of the program.

The administration and engineers at EN must have seen this given that the ENV2 platform has proven to be very easy to use and much more simple compared to the original version. In fact, in roughly five years of blogging I haven't seen other blogging platforms that are as easy to use.

Presently a completely unhatted member logs in, checks out the four large image icons near the top of the Home page and makes a selection. The selections are video, audio, image or text. They fill out the necessary data, possibly choose a file to upload from their computer and that's about it.

Not sure how something could get any easier and still help one to make a new post. One doesn't actually even have to be able to read.

And though the text posting does still permit basic text style through a regular highlight-and-click process, they have eliminated the "code" version so as to further streamline the process. Some more skilled bloggers who wish to do more intricate things with their articles could find this annoying but the clear majority of users, I assume, will like the easier process.

Among the most notable changes involves the Empower Network mobile app, making it easy to blog, publish video, and the like, directly from your i-phone. One function that seems to be a big hit is the opportunity for someone to record a video on their i-phone, then upload that video to your blog and publish it in only a few clicks on your phone. The plan is that you may develop your business from just about anywhere employing your phone and you don't even have to hunch over your home computer. It needs to be kept in mind that this is made possible only by also enrolling as a customer of Empower Network's video hosting service.

The ability to embed videos into your blog posts only using an embed code or just a YouTube URL yet maintains. Most people would perhaps just use free video services however they should realize that YouTube isn't built for entrepreneurs to use for marketing. There is always a risk of having all your content removed at whim which may be hazardous to your bottom line. A lot of more savvy marketers will already be using their own video hosting and that can certainly be embedded too. But the concept was to have the EN blog work in conjunction with the Empower Network video hosting service, making everything fast and easy to publish vlogs.

Personalization may be compromised for the sake of a more simple system. Whether this is an issue is a matter for each person to decide for themselves.

For instance, publishing photos into your blog posts now takes two clicks and there is no requisite to choose location or measurements for any photos. The rationale for this is that the Empower Network blogging program is going to automatically resize all your photos to the breadth of the post area. So no more having to wrap text around images. Most probably would not care less concerning this as a problem and honestly, with the majority of the site visitors viewing the internet on mobile devices nowadays, the graphics and text will get realigned for browsing anyway. It simply makes things faster and simpler.

Another unique change: When customers log in to ENV2 they will now see their social activity feed which contains the recent posts produced by other EN bloggers.

Every customer can choose when putting together a new post on whether or not to make that post public or to have it put in the Activity Feed for just specific membership levels for their customers. For example, a person may decide to make one post present to all their Basic members and some other post to display only to their Master's Course customers.

One other distinct feature is that of having the capacity to swipe any of the posts that you find on your own Activity Feed by using a single click, for uncomplicated sharing or just to fill your own blog with the content of others. This is again another social integration into the blogging platform, similar to Facebook sharing.

Overall the changes for ENV2 are favorable and certainly in the direction of simplicity for the benefit of the average person.
