Once the device is in discoverable mode, it sends a wireless signal to other Bluetooth-enabled devices that allows it to be detected by other mobile phones, computers and other devices. Thus you will be able to pair your Bluetooth-enabled device to your computer and this is also called the pairing mode.
Compared to using wires and cable connectors, use of Bluetooth is automatic, wireless and can reach up to 32 feet. That is why a lot of people opt to use Bluetooth enabled gadgets which helps them to eliminate use of wires and cable connectors that most of the time is accidentally tied.
